Minimum order value

Due to high production setup costs, we do not accept orders below SEK 10,000 including VAT and shipping, as all orders are manufactured to order. However, it is possible to add items to an existing order.

Placing Orders

You must be at least 18 years old to place an order with us. Customer information must be correct and all mandatory fields must be completed. You may only place orders in your own name.

Snêk reserves the right to correct publication errors, information errors and errors in specifications relating to any of our products and services.

Snêk cannot guarantee that the appearance and characteristics of a product will correspond exactly to images shown on the website, as these images are intended for illustrative purposes.

Countertops

The customer is responsible for providing accurate measurements for worktops.

When ordering natural stone, the delivered worktop may differ from the examples shown on the website.

Snêk does not apply the Swedish ROT tax deduction to the installation of worktops.

Shipping

During the purchasing process, the buyer will receive an indicative delivery date. Upon placing an order, the buyer will receive an agreed delivery date from Snêk.

Before manufacturing begins, a final review must always be carried out with Snêk. The final review is conducted digitally, and the buyer is responsible for booking the review.

The purpose of the final review is to go through the order and check whether any changes have been made. Once the buyer has approved the documentation from the final review, delivery normally takes place within four to six weeks.

Changes or additions to the order made after the customer has approved the documentation from the final review will be handled as additional orders. This may result in a later delivery date.

Manufacturing of products ordered from Snêk is scheduled and production begins only after the deposit has been paid. If payment of the deposit is delayed, Snêk has the right to change the delivery date.

If the buyer postpones the delivery date by more than one (1) week compared with the confirmed delivery date once the kitchen has been manufactured, Snêk has the right to charge the cost of external storage.

Delivery Terms

Snêk bears the cost and risk of transportation. Through its distributor, Snêk is responsible for unloading the goods from a truck equipped with a tail lift at the boundary of the property.

If additional services are required, such as carrying the goods inside the property, the customer must arrange these services directly with the distributor.

Partial deliveries may occur.

Snêk is not responsible for any customs clearance charges relating to the delivery address.

If the delivery address requires transportation by sea, Snêk will deliver to the requested port on the mainland. This does not apply to Gotland.

The customer is responsible for arranging a time for unloading with the freight company.

Delivery Times and Transportation

Our normal delivery time for kitchens is approximately 8–10 working weeks, depending on whether the kitchen is to be painted and whether the cabinet frames are assembled by us.

The delivery time is calculated from receipt of payment and completion of the review with the customer. Delivery times may also be affected by public holidays, holiday periods and changes made to the order.

From the end of November until the end of the year, disruptions to deliveries may occur. We cannot provide an exact delivery date.

When contacted by the transport company, you arrange the date for delivery of your order.

The goods are delivered to the specified address, or as close to the address as the carrier is able to reach, or, where applicable, to a collection point.

The carrier does not carry the goods inside the property. The delivery must be acknowledged by the recipient or their representative in accordance with the carrier’s instructions.

Additional charges may apply to difficult-to-access addresses, such as islands or locations with narrow access routes.

Do not book tradespeople before the delivery has been received and inspected, as we can only provide an estimated delivery time. Snêk does not reimburse costs arising from installers or other tradespeople having to wait for a delayed delivery.

Upon delivery, you must check whether the packaging has been damaged.

Any damage must be noted on the consignment note or delivery notice held by the driver or collection point.

Document any damage with photographs, both with and without the packaging, and email them to info@snek.se.

Our products are delivered on wooden pallets that can be up to three metres long. These pallets are not collected by Snêk upon delivery.

Delivery Acceptance

Delivery is made to the address specified by the buyer.

The delivery address must be accessible by truck unless otherwise agreed.

The buyer is responsible for ensuring that a recipient is present when the delivery is unloaded.

Before acknowledging receipt, the buyer must check that the number of packages corresponds with the consignment note and whether any packaging is damaged or missing.

If this is the case, the recipient and/or driver must note this on the consignment note.

Please take photographs and send them to Snêk in the event of any damage.

Following receipt and acknowledgement of the delivery, responsibility for the goods passes to the buyer, including the risk of damage.

In their own interest, the buyer should unpack and inspect the goods without undue delay and notify Snêk of any defects or damage.

For packages exceeding 250 cm in length, the customer is responsible for ensuring that a tractor or wheel loader is available for unloading.

Terms of Payment

The agreed price is payable by invoice in advance as follows:

Deposit: 20% when the order is placed, net 10 days.
Final delivery invoice: 80%, due 7 days before delivery from the factory.

Interest on late payments will be charged at the applicable Swedish reference interest rate plus 8 percentage points.

Return Policy

Our cabinet frames, doors and worktops cannot be returned as they are manufactured specifically for the customer.

Other products may be returned within 14 days of receipt of delivery, provided that the product’s immediate protective packaging has not been opened.

Claims relating to manufacturing defects or goods that do not correspond with the order must be submitted to Snêk by email at info@snek.se.

The recipient may not return, sell or repair damaged goods before this has been approved by Snêk.

Cancellation Rights

Where the purchase concerns goods manufactured to order according to the buyer’s instructions, the purchase is not subject to the statutory right of withdrawal where the applicable exemption under Swedish distance-selling legislation applies.

Complaints

Goods damaged during installation as a result of installation being carried out contrary to Snêk’s installation instructions cannot be claimed as defective on that basis.

The buyer is also responsible for following and documenting agreed maintenance and care measures.

Snêk’s liability for defects and damage does not include damage caused by incorrect assembly or installation, inadequate maintenance, improper care, neglect, abnormal use or other circumstances attributable to the buyer.

See also Snêk’s installation instructions and care instructions.

Assembly

On-site installation is not included in the quotation.

If the buyer engages a contractor for installation, Snêk recommends that the buyer ensures that delivery to the agreed address has been completed and that the customer has approved the delivery before the installer arrives.

Snêk does not reimburse costs for installers waiting for delivery.

Painting

Painting on site is not included.

Other

Snêk may change information, products and prices without prior notice. Such changes do not apply to goods that have already been ordered.

Information and prices are provided subject to printing errors, supplier price increases, incorrectly stated technical specifications and similar errors, as well as products being sold out.

Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the information provided to Snêk in connection with the order, such as quantities, measurements, colours and other selections, is correct.

If the customer discovers that information provided is incorrect or wishes to change the order, the customer must contact Snêk immediately.

Snêk will always attempt to accommodate requested changes but cannot guarantee that this will be possible.

The customer is responsible for their choices in the order even where the customer has sought advice from Snêk.

Force Majeure

Snêk is not responsible for delays relating to products, including delivery and warranty measures, if the delay is caused by circumstances beyond Snêk’s reasonable control.

Such circumstances include, without limitation, strikes, acts of terrorism, war, supplier, transport or production disruptions, changes in exchange rates, government actions, legislation or natural disasters.

Pricing & Payment Terms

Prices are stated in Swedish kronor.

All prices include 25% VAT. Prices do not include shipping or any payment fees.

Snêk reserves the right to correct price changes and incorrectly stated prices and has the right to cancel the purchase and refund any payment made by the customer before production has begun.

For kitchen orders, payment is made by invoice: 20% in advance when the order is placed and the remaining 80% before delivery.

Payment is made using the payment methods stated on Snêk’s website, currently via PlusGiro.

Snêk Product Warranty

Products manufactured by Snêk are covered by a 10-year product warranty from the date the delivery is received and approved.

Snêk’s warranty applies to products manufactured by Snêk provided that the goods have been properly cared for and that installation has been carried out professionally.

Buyers who have selected untreated wooden products, such as cabinet frames, doors, drawers, plinths and similar products, should treat these products with primer oil, paint, stain or a similar treatment within one week after the packaging has been removed.

This is intended to prevent the delivered products from being affected by humidity and temperature, which may otherwise result in swelling, shrinkage or deformation.

This treatment is not necessary if the products have already been primed with oil or fully painted during production by Snêk.

Snêk’s warranty does not apply to defects resulting from an accident occurring after delivery, neglect, abnormal use or installation that has not been carried out professionally.

Snêk’s products are manufactured using craftsmanship-based production methods. Materials and paint are ordered specifically for each production run, which means that the final result may differ slightly from samples previously seen by the buyer.

See the separate document regarding approved tolerances.

Snêk’s warranty covers defects in the product but does not include consequential work or additional costs that may arise as a result of the defect.

Snêk’s warranty applies from the delivery date. The purchase agreement must be presented in connection with warranty claims.

Claims must be submitted to Snêk by email at info@snek.se.

The buyer may not return, resell or repair damaged goods before this has been approved by Snêk.

For approved claims, Snêk will cover the return shipping costs.

Warranty for Third-Party Products

Warranties for products not manufactured by Snêk, such as appliances, taps, worktops and similar products, are subject to the respective manufacturer’s warranty terms and care instructions.

Claims relating to these products must be submitted directly to the manufacturer.

Natural Materials

The buyer acknowledges that materials such as wood and stone are natural materials with natural variations in appearance.

Exposure to light causes wood and painted surfaces to mature over time, which may result in changes in colour and tone.

Snêk General Terms and Conditions

These purchase terms apply insofar as Swedish law or other applicable legislation does not prescribe terms that conflict with them.

For private individuals, the Swedish Consumer Sales Act and the Swedish Distance Contracts Act apply in circumstances not covered by these purchase terms.

Customer Information

Snêk stores information about the buyer and specifications relating to the ordered product.

The information is stored and processed by Snêk in order to, among other things, administer orders, future supplementary orders and warranty commitments.

See also Snêk’s Privacy Policy for information about how personal data is processed.
