I et hus fra 1689 har dette kjøkkenet fått ta form – varsomt tilpasset husets historie og karakter. Da huset ble renovert, var det viktig for kunden at kjøkkenet skulle føles like tidstypisk som resten av hjemmet.
“It would simply have felt terrible to put an IKEA kitchen into the old setting,” the customer says. The choice therefore fell on a solid wood kitchen, where the material and the craftsmanship are allowed to take their place and become a natural part of the house’s character.
The kitchen is built in solid pine and painted in the colour S 3005-G80Y with linseed oil paint – a choice that enhances the soft, timeless feel of the room. The result is a kitchen that both harmonises with the history of the house and is built to last.

“It feels solid and like it will be able to stand here for generations.”
