Dans une maison de 1689, cette cuisine a pris forme – soigneusement adaptée à l’histoire et au caractère de la maison. Lors de la rénovation, il était important pour le client que la cuisine paraisse aussi typique de l’époque que le reste de la maison.
« It would simply have felt terrible to put an IKEA kitchen into the old setting, » the customer says. The choice therefore fell on a solid wood kitchen, where the material and the craftsmanship are allowed to take their place and become a natural part of the house’s character.
The kitchen is built in solid pine and painted in the colour S 3005-G80Y with linseed oil paint – a choice that enhances the soft, timeless feel of the room. The result is a kitchen that both harmonises with the history of the house and is built to last.
