The door frame is delivered pre-assembled, including door(s) and threshold.
• Begin by removing the door(s), then position the frame in the opening. The bottom edge of the frame/threshold must be level with the floor.
• Use wedges around the frame to hold it in place and adjust its position. Check with a spirit level to ensure the frame is plumb. Measure the diagonals of the opening and make sure they are equal. Fine-adjust the frame position by gently tapping it with a rubber mallet or a hammer with a wooden block in between.
• Secure the frame. If fastening into wooden studs, it is recommended to use frame screws (not included), as they are easy to adjust. Drill holes for the frame screws in suitable positions using a 14 mm drill bit.
If the wall is made of concrete, lightweight concrete, or brick, you must drill and use wall plugs.
• Check with a spirit level to ensure everything is level and adjust using the screws if necessary.
• Reinstall the door(s). Test by opening and closing them, ensuring that the gap between the door and the frame is approximately even all around. Fine-adjust the door(s) using the hinge adjustments.
