Snêk is on Breakit’s Scaleup list 2025 – the list of Sweden’s hottest fast-growing tech companies. For us it is confirmation that it is possible to combine traditional craftsmanship with digitalisation and build a company that transforms an established industry.
When Snêk was founded in 2019, it was born out of a clear frustration. There were no solid wood kitchens with free dimensions, true customisation and the option to finish them yourself. We wanted to build real kitchens – in solid wood – but with a modern and flexible production model.
Since the start we have developed a digitally driven process where every kitchen is unique, but where the way of working is scalable. By combining local production in Törefors in Norrbotten with efficient systems and structures, we have created a model that unites craftsmanship quality and growth.
Being recognised on Breakit’s Scaleup list 2025 shows that tech is not just about apps and software. It can also be about developing how products are manufactured, how customer-unique solutions are produced and how a traditional industry is modernised.
We do not see it as an end goal – but as a step in our continued journey. Our ambition remains the same: to build solid wood kitchens of the highest quality while continuing to develop a sustainable, modern and digital kitchen production from Norrbotten.
